In our Tai Chi Chuan we focus on correct structure and alignment, the actions are performed slowly and smoothly with absolute focus (this can take a lot of practice.) We work at relaxing the body and understanding when to use tension and although most of our students have little interest in the martial side of Tai Chi we, show the martial applications as it is sometimes the only way to understand and correct your structure, it will also increase your sensitivity and awareness. |
